Thore Schölermann was born on September 26, 1984 in Iserlohn (North Rhine-Westphalia). After completing high school he did a classical acting education.

Thore Schölermann became well-known in Germany by playing the role of the homosexual „Christian Mann“ in the ARD series „Forbidden Love“, where he was part of the main cast for many years.

Since 2012, he has been a permanent member of ProSieben’s hosting team and also successfully hosted „taff“, „The Voice of Germany“, „The Voice Kids“ or „The Voice Senior“.

In 2018, Thore Schölermann received the German Television Award in the category „Best Entertainment Primetime“.

In August he married his longtime girlfriend „Jana Julie Kilka“. Thore and Jana Schölermann now live together in Cologne.
